The MultiCultural Language Centre and Livemocha bring you the ultimate Online Active Language Courses, allowing you to learn a new language by blending traditional coursework with interaction and practice online!
Our Courses Our courses are carefully structured to facilitate communication in both spoken and written forms. Classes are taught with various activities which involve real life situations, offering students the confidence to express themselves from the very first lesson. All of our teachers at the MultiCultural Language Centre are native speakers of the language they teach, and are highly dedicated professionals committed to delivering each course in the best possible way. Classes are comprised of a small number of students, allowing teachers to focus on key areas such as pronunciation and other tasks at a much more personalised level.
This package comprises of the 6 week classroom course plus online tuition, which enables students to have the flexibility of learning online, at their own pace, with a range of interactive speaking and writing exercises. Through this program students can access native speakers of their chosen language all over the world to further their learning, make new friends and learn about other cultures.
This package is the ultimate learning experience for our students as it combines both classroom and online learning as well as membership to the MultiCultural Language Centre Social Club, enabling students to attend various cultural, social and sporting events, where they can meet native speakers of the language they are studying.

The new MultiCultural Language Centre offering French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German and English has opened its doors in Mt Lawley.
Director Liliana Aguirre said lessons would take students out of the classroom, providing cultural experiences that were practical, innovative and refreshing.
"Students will not only learn a new language but also gain cultural information about the countries where these languages are spoken," Ms Aguirre said.
"They are invited to participate in a variety of multicultural events. Some of them include foreign film festivals and art exhibitions, social activities, cooking classes, dancing and sporting events.
"This offers students the opportunity to meet native speakers and practise the language they are learning in live situations."
Classes are for children and adults, with all teachers able to share knowledge of their homelands.
"The languages currently offered at the centre are some of the most spoken and important in the world due to their historical, cultural and economic relevance," she said.

Liliana Aguirre Director Mexican born Liliana is a Spanish teacher and former committee member of the Mexican Association of Western Australia (FOMEX). Since her arrival in Australia 18 years ago, she has been extensively involved in organising and promoting multicultural events both in Perth and overseas. As a naturalised citizen herself, Liliana understands the challenges of learning another language and getting to know more about other cultures. |

Francesca Urli Italian Teacher Francesca was born in Italy and studied several languages at the University of Udine. Her passion for travelling brought her to Australia in 2008; since then, she has been teaching Italian to both children and adults. Francesca is very passionate about her job. She wants to offer her students the tools to communicate in Italian and to develop an understanding and appreciation for the Italian culture. |

Vanessa Dias Portuguese Teacher Vanessa was born in Sao Paulo Brazil and has a degree in Social Communications. She has extensive experience teaching Portuguese, Spanish and English to adults and children in different countries such as Brazil, Mexico and South Africa. |

Steffi Langer-Kool German Teacher Steffi is from Coburg, Germany. A graduate from the Goethe Institute in Munich, Steffi holds a teaching degree in ˜German as a foreign language . She has extensive experience teaching adults and children, in schools and private tuition. Being a mother herself, Steffi knows the importance of learning languages from an early age and is delighted to bring her knowledge to the classroom. |

Frederico Corra Ramanzini Portuguese Teacher Brazilian born Frederico has always had a passion for culture, languages and travelling. He holds a BA in Language Studies from the State University of Sao Paulo and speaks Portuguese, English, French, Italian and Spanish. He has been involved in the fields of education, marketing and events organization since 1999 in Brazil, Australia and China, always aiming at creating opportunities for world travellers to understand other cultures while learning languages and developing communication skills. |

Blanca Whyte Spanish Teacher Blanca is a Mexican teacher with more than 20 years experience working with children from different backgrounds. She was an English teacher in her native country. Since her arrival in Australia, she has been involved in organising Spanish playgroups and tutoring classes to give children the opportunity to practice the language. Blanca is currently employed with the Educational Department at her local Primary School. She is also the Publicity Officer for the Victoria Park Swimming Club as well as a member of the Friends of Mexico association. |

Laura Beilby French Teacher Born to a French mother and Australian father, Laura resided in both countries, becoming fluent In the French and English languages from a very young age. After a year spent in Mexico on a Rotary exchange program, she undertook a degree in Applied Foreign Languages in Montpellier, France, majoring in French, Spanish and English. She then lived in Paris for 6 years. Laura has since worked as a translator and a language teacher. She has taught adults and children, privately and in group settings. Laura is keen to share with her students her passion, knowledge and experience of the French culture and language. |

Christine Siao French Teacher Born and educated in Mauritius, native French speaker Christine came to Australia in 2007. Her experience as a freelance journalist presented the forum to now showcase her language skills. Christine, also a qualified children's swimming instructor, has a natural affinity with children and is committed to sharing her linguistic passion with them. Alessia Cubeddu Italian Teacher Alessia was born in Italy and she studied Literature and Arts at the University of Florence. She started to teach Italian to foreigners when she was still in Tuscany, but then her passion for travelling and teaching brought her to Perth in 2010, where she now also works for a welfare organisation helping the Italian community in Australia. Eugenia Schettino Spanish Teacher Eugenia was born in Mexico. She has a BA in Translation in English, French, Italian and Portuguese. She holds a teaching degree in Spanish as a Second Language and has 16 years experience teaching Spanish to adults in Mexico, England and Australia. She also holds a Teaching Certificate in English. Eugenia has a passion for languages, different cultures and traditions. She knows the importance of learning a language in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Eugenia is an active member of Friends of Mexico in Western Australia.
