Hola Mexico Film Festival :"Adiós Clichés"

Say Adios to clichés and hola to films and fiestas!
The el Tren (train) has left Mexico and after a successful tour through Los Angeles, it is now set to head around Australia, for the 7th annual Hola Mexico Film Festival, arriving in Perth on Nov 15.

To ensure the festival starts off with a bang, Hola are throwing an exciting opening night party in every city, which includes a screening of the feel good flick Mariachi Gringo, which stars X-Mena, Shawn Ashmore and features the beautiful music of the world famous mariachi singer Lila Downs who recently toured Australia. The excitement doesn't end there though, with the screening flowing straight in to a fiery fiesta of an after party.  The Sol, tequila and authentic Mexican food and performances will flow while we party the night away.

Hola Festival Director Samuel Douek says: This year Hola Mexico is lining up to be one of the best yet. The Film Festival has something to offer to everyone. Whether you want to take a peek in to the passion of professional kitchens, the strands that hold a family together, the traditions that tear us apart, or just hear some amazing music from the other side of the world, Hola promises something exciting and passionate,  he says.

Combining the very best of everything Mexican for a week of fun, film and food, The Festival gives you the chance to catch a glimpse of the heart of Mexico on the big screen, mixed in with drama, love, romance, and hard hitting documentaries.
So don't miss out on the journey, put the dates in your dairy and get ready to delve in to Mexico from the comfort of an Australian cinema!
